My parish church is Sacred Heart, Howden, Yorkshire. The people attending Mass are so friendly. Fr Éamonn is our parish priest. It is such a change from my last parish where I was First Holy Communion coordinator, and there were between 70 and 90 children making their communion each year. I am privileged to prepare the children at Sacred Heart, There is one child this year! But the 9.30 mass is packed with young families. It is a joy to go there. I think there are about ten pews each side. I also do church cleaning once a month.
